The Rock 'n' Play

Zachary's cousin's wife, Karen, had a baby boy on my birthday (January 22nd) and was a big help to me trying to figure out what all I needed for Baby Liam.  She gave me a lot of advice but said if you listen to one thing I tell you, get the rock 'n' play.  I have since shared this wisdom with other moms-to-be.  It is the coolest thing.  It's really simple.  There are no batteries or cords to be plugged in- just a cradle-like structure that rocks when you move it but it was the best advice we listened to.  We weren't sticklers for a schedule... when he fell asleep he went to sleep and when he cried because he was hungry, we fed him.  So he would randomly fall asleep in this and we could effortlessly slide it into a different room if we needed to.  If he woke up, we could rock him right back to sleep.  I have countless memories of having this next to my bed and him waking up and me, still halfway asleep myself, rocking it until his little sounds stopped.

Reynolds' Slow Cooker Liners

Oh my goodness, what a life saver.  Whether I'm making a roast or honey sesame chicken these liners save so much time and energy.  They are legitimately one of my favorite things.
